Supurb specimen of extremely rare Marshite from Broken Hill, this has some excellant well formed orange crystals on the face-side while the reverse has hundreds of yellowish smaller crystals in association with some well formed Cuprite crystals altering to Malachite.
Marshite CuI is a rare Silver Halide from Broken Hill  and ranks along with Miersite, Stolzite, & Raspite as a desirable species!

Small Cabinet specimen of extremely rare Miersite from Broken Hill-this has literally hundreds not just a few  pale yellow crystals on a dark matrix-very rare in any size this is also an old Historical piece from the 1880's There are also a few orage colored crystals that may be Marshite but they are not mentioned on the catalogue card-card comes with this "A" specimen the larger of the 2 pieces.

Stolzite is rare enough on its own however this specimen exhibits the extremely rare prismatic form of this rare mineral! the Stolzites are imbedded in Brown Pyromorphite & Galena with minor Wolframite-there is also what appears but not mentioned lilac colored Miersite? that fluorecses blue-if such adds to this specimens rarity & uniqueness!
Stolzite Pb[WO  is a rare Tungstate from Broken Hill  and ranks along with Miersite, Marshite, & Raspite as a desirable species!

This Cabinet size example-repeat CABINET SIZE has 4 Painite Crystals with 2 being doubly terminated and showing two forms-this is rare rare rare in fact this was once described as the rarerst mineral or "Holy Grail"of minerals and is also in the top 10 of rarities in the Gem Trade for cut stones, in 2005 there were only 18 known examples of this mineral, as if that isnt enough it has a
5 mm clear gem quality "Pigeons Blood" Ruby with lots of smaller ones& a purple Sapphire plus many small pink Sapphires! the whole matrix is heavy and appears to be made up of Ruby Corundum & more Painite but in a more massive form.


As if the presence of Stolzite was not enough on this rare piece it also has Iodargyrite along as well for good measure making it doubly rare!
