Supurb Pink Cobaltion Smithsonite of the best color!
This specimen has all the qualities of a top specimen and is clean & undamaged apart from a fault in the bottom corner that appears to be natural as I can't discern that it has been repaired-it is stable & does not detract from the overall high aesthetics of this beautiful piece! comes with Lauries catalogue card #1253
Very high quality specimen!
Supurb big Cabinet of Reticulated Cerussite covered in small gemmy Anglesites, the Cerussite exhibit some great star & reticulations & for an old specimen is in great condition-this was mined in the very early years of Broken Hill as are many of these specimens from this important collection so is a part of Broken Hill history as well as an excellant extremely hard to get & specimen of this desirable form of Cerussite & comes with Lauries catalogue card #407

A rare old classic from this location that would I'd say date from the 50's or 60'& it originally came from Earl E. Calvert. the specimen is breathtaking and so aesthetic it is hard to part with and I'm sure anybody viewing this would agree that this is one impressive reticulated Cerussite worthy of a place in a fine collection & comes with Lauries catalogue card #404

Very nice example of this rare Silver Chloride in large for species even rarer well formed waxy crystals to 6mm-Broken Hill was the source of many rare silver minerals such as this and Bromargyrite as an example, this is also another great historical piece having been mined in the very ealy years of the mine making this a must have for the Broken Hill collector!
this also comes with Lauries catalogue card #1483
Large rare specimen of large Azurite crystals altering to Malachite that is not obvious until you view the cross section of one crystal at the edge-the Azurite crystals that attain up to 2 cm in size plus, have a thin outer coating but are gemmy & lustrous! there are several rubs on the edge of some of the Azurites but for sheer size of this specimen & its crystals easily makes up for this as a rare hard to get specimen & also comes with Lauries catalogue card #1480

Specimens of this calibre are seldom seen nowadays & when they do become available are highly sought after!
extremely aesthetic piece!

Block 14, Broken Hill NSW
LARGE MINIATURE-Circa 1889
2.6" x 2.00" 2 cm Crystals

Very nice example of Broken Hill Azurite crystals on Malachite & a little Cerussite-top crystal has a small contact but considering the age of this piece it is over 100 years old! is in very good condition, it has a 2cm terminated shiny crystal in a prominant position & displays well this is the best I have accessed for some time now and they are getting rarer to find with each passing year.
comes with Lauries catalogue card #418A

British Mine, Broken Hill NSW
LARGE MINIATURE-Circa 1889
2.5" x 1.3" 2.5 cm "V" twin
$950.00 US
Scarcer mine locality tof the British Mine, his specimen was obtained by Laurie from the mine manager of the Block 14 and shows very strong & aesthetic reticulated growth along with a perfect "V" twin crystal-displays very well & is a very very nice specimen on all points considering it is over 100 years old as are many of these pieces from this collection!

#383 RETICULATED CERUSSITE STAR
Block 14, Broken Hill NSW
LARGE MINIATURE-Circa 1886
3.0" x 2.0" 2.5" star
$1100.00 US
Gorgeous Wulfenite from this classic closed locality-this specimen dates from the 1960's and had large Orange/Caramel tabular Wulfenites on a dark matrix with some opposite sides of the crystals dusted with dark Dezcloizite, this was another surprise from Lauries collection & shows the aesthetic qulaities of much of the materail contained in it.
This unfortunatly has no catalogue card and only bears the number on the specimen.
#227 WULFENITE
Ahumada Mine, Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico
LARGE MINIATURE-1960's
2.6" x 1.25" 1.6 cm crystals
$1650.00 US
Another very old historical specimen from these mines! A Cerussite sixling star sitting neatly on a small piece of matrix that shows very strong & aesthetic reticulated growth, there is a small amount of contact6 on one arm of the star but considering it is 102 years old & the fragility of Cerussite in general it is in very good shape as are many of these pieces from this collection!
comes with Lauries catalogue card #383
